In the year 2XXX, a mysterious viral outbreak plunges Earth into chaos. Scientists dub the resulting affliction the "Zombie" virus, a pathogen that triggers rapid mutation in humans. Victims transform into mindless zombies, their forms grotesquely altered and driven by an insatiable hunger for human blood and an attraction to noise.

You are a survivor in this shattered world. To shield your cherished home and the few remaining survivors, you must establish a fortified base with layered defenses. Strategic placement of defense towers is key to reinforcing your stronghold and ensuring its safety.

At each level's outset, you are presented with the play area—an 8x8 grid—and the predetermined route monsters will follow. Your task is to use wall fragments shaped like puzzle pieces to redesign this path, forcing enemies to march through the kill zones of your defensive towers. Your ultimate objective is unwavering: protect the home from the relentless onslaught.

The home is fixed at a specific location on the grid for each level. You have the freedom to place your puzzle-piece walls anywhere, with one critical rule: at least one space must remain open in every row of the grid.

Each level consists of 6 intense waves of monsters. Before beginning, you select one of two tower cards, which then joins your inventory alongside your wall pieces. You must position these cards on the grid before the assault commences. After surviving a wave, you can choose a new card—either powerful new tower types or a stat card that permanently enhances all your existing defenses.
