This abstract strategy board game, also known as Gobang, traditionally uses black and white stones on a Go board. However, its static nature allows for easy play using pen and paper. Globally recognized under various names, the objective is simple: be the first to create an unbroken line of five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Black moves first, with players taking turns placing their colored stones on unoccupied intersections. This version, Dr. Gomoku, strictly follows Renju regulations.
