Back in January, Bluepoch Games thrilled fans with a sneak peek at an exciting upcoming collaboration. Now, they've unveiled more details on the much-anticipated Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover, which promises to bring the legendary Ezio as a playable character into the mix.
In partnership with Ubisoft, this crossover event will celebrate two of the most beloved entries in the Assassin's Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released in January showcased Vertin navigating a rainy street, with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo glowing in the distance, setting the stage for what's to come.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
The full plan has been revealed, and the crossover is slated to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond featuring Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collaboration has much more in store.
The event is structured into two exciting phases, each offering unique Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and events. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate 15th-century Italy, piecing together cryptic clues.
Phase II shifts the scene to the ancient world of Greece, specifically the setting of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will likely recognize several familiar events as Vertin and her crew delve into this historical backdrop.

It’s a Special Crossover
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all global servers will be synchronized. This means that players worldwide will have simultaneous access to the event content.
Reverse: 1999 is a unique time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon known as The Storm. After these storms strike, entire eras vanish. Vertin, alongside her partner Sonetto, journeys through various time periods to rescue other arcanists who are sensitive to these temporal shifts.
