CDPR Reimagines Ciri's Appearance in New The Witcher 4 Footage

by Scarlett Mar 18,2025

CD Projekt RED recently unveiled a ten-minute behind-the-scenes look at the making of the first The Witcher 4 trailer. A key highlight? The significantly improved appearance of Ciri. The updated model showcased in the video features subtle but impactful adjustments, addressing earlier criticism.

Following the initial Witcher 4 announcement, some fans expressed concern that Ciri looked unfamiliar. This revised model, however, appears much closer to her original design, likely thanks to improved lighting and corrections for fisheye lens distortion.

Fan reaction remains mixed. Some celebrate this as a direct response to community feedback, while others see it as a result of minor technical improvements or enhanced lighting. Social media is alive with debate, with many expressing satisfaction at Ciri's return to a more "natural" and recognizable look.
