Originally announced in December 2023, the Chainsaw Man movie serves as a direct continuation of the wildly popular 2022 MAPPA anime series. It follows Denji, a young protagonist who gets a second chance at life after bonding with Pochita, a Chainsaw Devil dog. This supernatural pact grants him the extraordinary ability to morph parts of his body into deadly chainsaws—arming him with unmatched power as he evolves beyond his former self.
In Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, the story expands with the introduction of Reze, a key character from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, the film reunites the full original voice cast, bringing back every major performer to reprise their roles.
