Path of Exile 2's Currency Exchange: Mastering the Fluctuating Market
Path of Exile 2's Currency Exchange is vital for upgrading currencies and trading with other players. However, the dynamic exchange rates can be confusing. This guide clarifies how to check the current rates.
Because PoE 2 currency exchange rates are constantly changing based on market fluctuations, the only reliable method to determine current rates is to check in-game.
Checking Currency Exchange Rates in PoE 2
-
Access the Exchange: Speak to the vendor offering gambling services in any Act after reaching Cruel Difficulty. This unlocks the Currency Exchange.
-
Select Desired Currency: In the Currency Exchange interface, you'll see two boxes. Click the left box and choose the currency you want to acquire (or the one you'll receive in exchange). For example, to find the Divine Orb price, select Divine Orb.
-
Choose Available Currency: Click the right box to view your available currencies across your inventory and stashes. Continuing the example, to see the Divine Orb's Exalted Orb equivalent, select Exalted Orb from your available currencies.
-
View Conversion Ratio: The conversion rate appears between the selection boxes. To obtain a Divine Orb using Exalted Orbs, you'll pay the number of Exalted Orbs displayed.
-
Reverse Conversions: This process works in reverse. If you have a Divine Orb and want Exalted Orbs, select Exalted Orb in the "Want" section and your Divine Orb in the "Have" section.
-
Regularly Check Rates: Exchange rates are dynamic, changing frequently. Check often to capitalize on favorable rates.
-
Unavailable Combinations: If a currency combination (e.g., Divine Orb for Scrolls of Wisdom) isn't available, no ratio will appear, indicating an invalid exchange.
