Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is stomping onto the Battle Royale island, offering one lucky player per match the chance to control the iconic kaiju. This guide details how to become Godzilla and how to defeat him.
Becoming Godzilla:
Beginning January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the Battle Royale map in each game. Be the first player to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!
As Godzilla, unleash devastating attacks: the Roar to pinpoint nearby opponents, the Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and the powerful Heat Ray to inflict significant damage. However, be warned – the entire lobby will be hunting you!
Defeating Godzilla:
For the 99 players who don't become Godzilla, a thrilling battle awaits. Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla. Focus your fire on these areas to trigger the drop of Godzilla Fragments, rewarding you with 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key!
The Rail Gun makes a triumphant return for this event, providing a potent weapon against Godzilla. Higher-rarity weapons are also highly effective. The player inflicting the most damage on Godzilla earns the coveted Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher. Even without becoming Godzilla, defeating him offers substantial rewards!
