In our review of Devil May Cry Season 1, we noted: "Devil May Cry isn’t without its flaws—questionable CG, weak jokes, and predictable characters. But Adi Shankar and Studio Mir have created a wildly entertaining video game adaptation that also serves as a surreal, over-the-top tribute to and critique of '00s Americana.

"If nothing else, it features some of the most stunning animation you’ll see this year, and its epic finale perfectly sets the stage for an even crazier second season."

PlaySeason 2 of Devil May Cry shouldn’t come as a shock, since series creator Adi Shankar has previously mentioned plans for a multi-season arc.
