Pirates Outlaws 2 introduces a fresh hero, whose story unfolds years after the original game's timeline. This new protagonist starts with pre-built decks and unique ability cards, setting the stage for a personalized journey.
The sequel introduces companions, each adding their own unique cards to your arsenal. A new fusion mechanic allows you to combine three identical cards into a more powerful entity.
Deck customization takes center stage with an evolution tree, allowing strategic upgrades and transformations. Previously discarded cards now hold potential for enhancement, maximizing your deck's effectiveness. The acquisition of relics has also been revamped. Instead of appearing after every battle, they are now found in markets, after boss fights, and during special events.
Combat has been refined with a new Countdown system impacting enemy actions. The "End Turn" button is replaced with "ReDraw," adding a new layer of strategic depth. A new armor and shield system further enhances tactical possibilities.
