Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima and Kodansha Game Creators Lab have unveiled the "FAIRY TAIL INDIE GAME GUILD," a new initiative that will bring several indie PC games inspired by the beloved manga and anime series to players.

New Titles Launching Under the "Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild" Banner
A collection of games based on the immensely popular Fairy Tail universe is on the horizon! Today, Kodansha Game Creators Lab revealed its collaboration with Fairy Tail's author, Hiro Mashima, to release three titles as part of the "Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild" project.
The three new games are Fairy Tail: Dungeons, Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc, and Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic. All are being developed by independent studios and will launch on PC shortly. The first two, Fairy Tail: Dungeons and Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc, are scheduled for release on August 26 and September 16, 2024, respectively. Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic is currently in production, with further information to be shared soon.
"This indie game project kicked off when Fairy Tail author Hiro Mashima expressed his desire to see a Fairy Tail game come to life," Kodansha explained in today's announcement video. "The developers are crafting these games driven by their passion for Fairy Tail, along with their unique skills and creative vision. We believe both loyal Fairy Tail fans and general gamers will find plenty to enjoy."
Fairy Tail: Dungeons Arrives August 26, 2024
Fairy Tail: Dungeons is an upcoming deck-building roguelite adventure. Players will guide Fairy Tail characters as they delve into a dungeon, using a limited number of actions and a carefully constructed deck of ability cards to overcome foes and progress deeper into the labyrinth.
Developed by ginolabo, the game includes a score composed by Hiroki Kikuta, known for his work on Secret of Mana. "The Fairy Tail universe is enriched by Celtic-inspired musical themes that provide an energetic atmosphere for both combat and narrative moments."
Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc Launches September 16, 2024
Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc is a sports action game featuring 2vs2 multiplayer beach volleyball matches. Expect a fast-paced, chaotic, and magic-infused beach volleyball experience with your favorite characters from the series. Gamers can pick two characters from a selection of 32 to build their ideal beach volleyball squad. The title is being developed by tiny cactus studio, MASUDATARO, and veryOK.
