Yes, you can encounter a Shiny Fuecoco in Pokemon GO. The odds of finding one during Community Day are boosted to 1 in 25, compared to the usual 1 in 512. This makes Community Days the perfect time to hunt for these rare, alternative-colored variants. While it's not a guarantee, persistent players have a great shot at adding a Shiny Fuecoco to their collection within the event's three-hour window.
Fuecoco’s Evolutions in Pokemon GO

Fuecoco evolves into two different forms in Pokemon GO: Crocalor and Skeledirge, requiring 25 and 100 Fuecoco Candies respectively. Both are available in the game, but the Community Day offers a special chance to evolve a Skeledirge with an exclusive move.
Skeledirge Featured Attack
Evolving a Fuecoco into Crocalor during the Community Day window on March 8, or up to a week after, will allow you to obtain a Skeledirge that knows the Charged Attack, Blast Burn. This powerful move is not typically part of Skeledirge's moveset.
Torch Song Update
Additionally, Skeledirge will be able to learn Torch Song, another Charged Attack that boosts its Attack stat by one stage while dealing damage, making it a valuable asset in Pokemon GO battles.
Community Day Event Bonuses
During the Fuecoco Community Day, and until 10:00 PM on March 8, you can enjoy the following bonuses:
- 300% more Stardust when catching Pokemon
- Double the catch Candy
- Double the chance for Trainers Level 31+ to get XL Candy when catching Pokemon
- Lure Modules that last for three hours instead of the usual 30 minutes
- Incenses that last for three hours instead of the usual 60 minutes
- A surprise event when you take snapshots
- Ability to conduct two Special Trades per day instead of one
- 50% less Stardust required for trades

To maximize your gains during the Fuecoco Community Day, stock up on Pinap Berries. With the event bonuses doubling the catch Candy from three to six, using a Pinap Berry with each catch will net you 12 Fuecoco Candies per encounter.
