Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the Natlan storyline conclusion in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller, Inazuma-focused adventure, centered around a yokai-themed flagship event starring Yae Miko.
Mizuki's arrival as a playable character, heavily rumored since late 2024, is now confirmed. Beta testing for Version 5.4 revealed her role as a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst, essentially a premium version of Sucrose with added healing capabilities. Her versatile kit makes her a valuable asset to many Taser teams.
While the official reveal on Twitter came slightly later than anticipated, the drip marketing campaign unveiled Mizuki's dual identity as a psychologist and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse, alongside her friendship with Yae Miko. This connection strongly suggests her introduction during the flagship event, further complemented by a dedicated Story Quest in Version 5.4.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's event banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Mizuki will join the Standard Banner post-Version 5.4, prompting collectors to prioritize acquiring her signature weapon.
In contrast to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more streamlined experience. It includes only one new character, one Story Quest, and no new map or artifact domain, resulting in a below-average Primogem yield. Players should strategically save their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if aiming for highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley.
