Longleaf Valley, Treesplease\'s debut release, has helped plant over two million real-world trees

by Sophia Mar 17,2025

Treesplease proudly announces that their initiative, launched alongside their debut game Longleaf Valley, has resulted in the planting of over two million real-world trees! This incredible achievement was made possible through a partnership with the Eden Reforestation Project, offsetting an estimated 42,000 tonnes of CO2.

To celebrate this milestone and kick off 2025, Treesplease is hosting a new in-game Veganuary event, inspired by the official Veganuary Cookbook. Whether you're a vegan, curious about veganism, or simply enjoy new in-game content, this event offers exciting opportunities to earn adorable baby animal rewards.

A Year of Green Success

2024 proved to be a remarkable year for Treesplease. CEO and founder Laura Carter received a Global Gaming Citizen award at the 2024 Game Awards for her dedication to climate action. Furthermore, Longleaf Valley was recognized with the Best Purpose Driven Game award at the 2024 Playing of the Planet Awards.

Treesplease’s "Play it, Plant It" model has clearly resonated with players. Many gamers appreciate the opportunity to contribute to a good cause while enjoying their favorite pastime. This successful approach has yielded a significant positive impact on the environment.

Looking ahead, Treesplease's upcoming game, Communite, focuses on community building and positive change. For more information on Communite, be sure to check out Jupiter Hadley's preview.
