Today's preview also highlights unique features of the set, such as the introduction of Summons, which are part of Magic's innovative Saga creatures. Players can summon these for assistance in battle, with Summon: Shiva being a notable example from the gallery. Additionally, the set brings back double-faced cards, exemplified by Cecil's transformation from Dark Knight to Redeemed Paladin.
The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 borderless legendary cards, many of which are illustrated by beloved artists from the Final Fantasy series. This set will be fully draftable and Standard-legal, set to launch on June 13. Accompanying the set are four preconstructed Commander decks, each themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck contains 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing ones reimagined with new Final Fantasy artwork.
