Fans of Metaphor: ReFantazio can now dive into a fresh retelling of the game's story through its newly released manga adaptation. The first chapter is now live on MANGA Plus and accessible at no cost. This official manga is brought to life by Japanese artist Yōichi Amano (known for Akaboshi: Ibun Suikoden and Stealth Symphony) under the collaboration of Atlus and manga publisher Shueisha.
While staying true to the spirit of the original title, the manga introduces several narrative changes. Notably, the opening sequence has been restructured—some early-game areas have been omitted, while entirely new events have been introduced. These creative adjustments also include an altered introduction to the protagonist’s allies. Additionally, the manga officially confirms the protagonist’s name as "Will," aligning with the default name in the game.
