Following the releases of Meteorfall: Journeys in 2017 and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale in 2019, indie developer Slothwerks has launched the third installment in the series: Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble. This time, the ultimate prize is the coveted Mask of the Uberlich.
Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble features familiar faces but introduces completely new gameplay
Assemble a team of three heroes from a roster of eight and lead them into fast-paced, explosive battles where card play, powerful combos, and sheer spectacle take center stage.
The story begins with Bramble, an arena owner who has fallen on hard times. He lost it all after a reckless, drunken bet in a disreputable Meteorfall saloon.
While wandering the wastes the next morning, he stumbles upon the legendary Mask of the Uberlich—and a plan takes shape. By organizing a brutal new tournament, he hopes to attract both desperate fighters and wealthy spectators, aiming to rebuild his legacy from scratch.
And so the Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble begins, where winning isn’t about playing fair—it’s about flair, showmanship, and merciless strategy.
Play cards, command your allies, and swing the battle in your favor using Wild Cards. Unlock game-changing special effects, collect over 200 cards, and stack multiple upgrades onto a single card for powerful synergies.
Between matches, you can visit Bramble Town
This is your only opportunity to prepare for the next fight, with options to upgrade gear and train your team. Since time is limited, choosing the right vendors becomes a key strategic choice—and poor planning can have immediate consequences.
Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is tailored for quick gaming sessions. Most playthroughs last around 45 minutes or less—unusual for a game in this genre.
The tone remains as delightfully absurd as ever. You’ll encounter bizarre rivals like radiation-crazed snotwolves and drunken bearbearians, and it’s this unique humor that gives the roguelike its personality.
Originally revealed as Bramble Royale, the game was renamed just before pre-registrations opened. You can find it on the Google Play Store, available for $6.99.
