Clash Royale has rolled out a major upgrade for the Inferno Dragon after years of anticipation. This legendary fire-breathing unit finally receives its long-overdue Evolution after nearly a decade in the game. Supercell celebrated the milestone with a unique promotional collaboration featuring Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola.
A Hilarious Contract Negotiation
The nine-year veteran of the arena takes center stage in Clash Royale's new trailer, with Leikola delivering a standout performance as the dragon's overzealous Hollywood agent. The comedic spot shows the Inferno Dragon abandoning its battlefield duties to pursue fame and fortune.

The Evolution brings significant gameplay improvements - while the original Inferno Dragon reset its damage output when changing targets, the upgraded version maintains its escalating damage, making it far more formidable in battle.
New Season Features Dragon Evolution and 2v2 Mode
Titled "How to Evolve Your Dragon!", the latest season introduces both the Inferno Dragon Evolution and the return of popular 2v2 League battles. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.
The season offers multiple reward opportunities through Milestone Events starting at Arena 7. Players can earn valuable prizes including Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics.
The Crown Chase events deliver battle banners with decorative frames plus additional evolution shards and card books. Several special game modes will showcase the new evolution cards throughout June and early July:
- Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
- Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9)
- Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16)
- Magical Trio (June 16-23)
- 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
- Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7)
