How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO
The Fidough Fetch event (January 4th-8th, 2025) marked Fidough's debut. It appeared as a wild spawn alongside other canine Pokémon. Additionally, Fidough was obtainable through Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.
Players could also acquire Fidough or Dachsbun through trading. Online Pokémon GO communities like Reddit or Discord are good places to find trading partners.
Dachsbun didn't appear in the wild. Trainers had to either trade for it or evolve a Fidough using 50 candies. Given Dachsbun's potential in battles, choosing a Fidough with high stats before evolution is recommended.
Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
No, shiny Fidough and Dachsbun weren't available during their initial release in the Dual Destiny season. However, future events may introduce shiny variants, as is common with Pokémon GO. Until then, Trainers will have to wait for a future opportunity.
