Celebrate 25 Years of The Sims with Legacy Collections!
EA and Maxis are marking The Sims' 25th anniversary with a fantastic gift to fans: The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 are back on PC! Available now are The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection, individually or bundled together for $40 in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle.
These Legacy Collections are comprehensive, including nearly all expansion and stuff packs for each game. While The Sims 2 collection omits the IKEA Home Stuff pack, it still offers a substantial amount of content. Both collections also include bonus content: The Sims 1 gets the Throwback Fit Kit, and The Sims 2 receives the Grunge Revival Kit.
This marks a significant return for these classic titles. The Sims 1 was only ever released physically, making it inaccessible to many modern players. The Sims 2, while previously available through an Ultimate Collection, was removed from digital storefronts some time ago. Now, all four main Sims games are readily available digitally.
