Slay the Spire 2 Release Officially Delayed

Arriving in March 2026

The developers at MegaCrit have confirmed that Slay the Spire 2 will now launch in March 2026 "on a secret Thursday." They cited multiple factors including personal circumstances and the need for additional refinement.

"There isn't one major cause. The team faced some personal life events (everyone is fine!), we kept adding 'wouldn't it be cool if...' features, and frankly, the game requires more polish to meet our quality standards," MegaCrit explained in an official X (Twitter) post and their September Neowsletter, which was shared on the original game's Steam page.

They also emphasized their eagerness to "get this into your hands" and committed to providing regular development updates, thanking the community for its ongoing enthusiasm and support. For the latest Slay the Spire 2 news, take a look at our article below!
