IDW's official synopsis for Sonic the Hedgehog #79:
The long-standing rivalry between elite markswoman Whisper and shadowy assassin Mimic culminates in a dramatic showdown!
Only one of these former allies will emerge victorious! Can Tangle and Silver alter the course of the battle? Or will Whisper witness another friend caught in the crossfire? This thrilling conflict is the culmination of years of tension!
"IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog has thrived for seven years, developing unique storylines, characters, and narrative threads," Flynn shared with IGN. "Many of these elements converged in Evan Stanley's recent arc. Reaching a story's climax is always rewarding, but I'm equally excited to explore what follows. Many fans will be wondering 'What happens next?' My arc provides answers, offers some resolutions of my own, and sets the stage for Evan's next major arc in the series."
Sonic the Hedgehog #76 is currently on sale, with issue #77 launching March 19th. Pre-orders are available at your local comic book store (locate your nearest store here).
