How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze
To find this stash, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While multiple entrances exist, use the main entrance indicated on the map (map image would go here).
Once inside the maze, proceed to the right until you reach a wrecked bus on its side. Look to your left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to reach the stash. Retrieve the Tourist Suit Body Armor from the stash.
Is the Tourist Suit Armor Worthwhile?
The Tourist Suit is a valuable piece of armor, particularly in the early to mid-game stages of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It offers solid protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key strengths are exceptional radiation and physical damage resistance, making it ideal for hazardous environments.
Beyond its defensive capabilities, the Tourist Suit also boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. This is a significant advantage, given the amount of travel in Stalker 2. Improved stamina and regeneration allow for extended exploration.
While effective on its own, the Tourist Suit can be further enhanced through upgrades. While Lens at Zalissya cannot upgrade it, Diode at the Slag Heap possesses the necessary expertise. He can equip the suit with high-quality modifications, significantly improving its stats.
