The first story expansion for Star Wars Outlaws arrives today with the release of the "A Pirate's Fortune" DLC across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. Fans can credit the charming rogue Hondo Ohnaka for this exciting new content.
According to Drew Rechner, Creative Director at Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment, the DLC emerged from the development team's enduring affection for Hondo Ohnaka, the Weequay pirate previously featured in Darth Maul comics and Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series.
"Our team's passion made Hondo's inclusion inevitable. The synergy between Kay's scoundrel journey and Hondo's pirate expertise creates perfect storytelling alchemy," Rechner explained to IGN.
"As Kay develops her leadership skills, having someone like Hondo as a questionable mentor opened fascinating narrative possibilities," he added.

"Specific enhancements for Switch 2 warrant their own discussion timeframe. Stay tuned for more detailed reveals later," Rechner commented.
