The Spring Festival celebration has arrived in Marvel Rivals, bringing numerous free rewards for players. The highlight of the Fortune & Colors event is undoubtedly the free costume for the beloved outlaw character. How To Earn the Star-Lord Skin in Marvel Rivals' Fortune & Colors Event
Similar to the Winter Celebration, players must collect a special in-game currency called Danqing to progress through the Fortune & Colors event. Represented by a paintbrush with red paint, this currency can only be earned by completing event challenges in the new Clash of Dancing Lions mode, Quick Play, and Competitive matches.
While standard challenges vary, the event-specific missions remain constant. Here are all currently available Fortune & Colors quests:
- Complete 3 Clash of Dancing Lions matches
- Intercept the ball 3 times during a single Clash of Dancing Lions match
After accumulating Danqing, players can redeem rewards through the event pass. The Star-Lord Lion's Mane skin requires 900 Danqing - a substantial amount but achievable before the event concludes on February 14th.
Trying the Star-Lord Lion's Mane Skin Before Unlocking It
For players who prefer previewing the skin without grinding, the Clash of Dancing Lions mode offers a solution. This Rocket League-inspired game mode features three playable characters - Star-Lord, Black Widow, and Iron Fist - each with special Spring Festival skins that all players can sample during matches.
Those who decide they want to permanently acquire all three skins can purchase the Dancing Lions bundle from the in-game store for 2,800 Units (approximately $20). Considering the individual skin prices, this represents significant savings compared to buying them separately.
