Nightdive Studios revealed that the upcoming modernized version of the 1999 sci-fi horror action RPG, previously titled System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, has been rebranded as System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. This updated edition is also confirmed for release on Nintendo Switch.
System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is scheduled to launch soon for Windows PC via Steam and GOG, as well as on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch.

Nightdive Studios confirmed that the official release date will be announced during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025, accompanied by a new trailer.
