- Tinkatink and its evolved forms make their Pokémon Go debut
- Additional Paldea Pokémon will also join the action
- Plenty of rewards will be available to earn
The Horizons Celebration returns to Pokémon Go, introducing something sparkling, formidable, and distinctly pink as Tinkatink arrives. For the first time, Tinkatink and its evolutionary line, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton, are joining the game during a special event running from April 16th to 22nd.
The hammers these Pokémon carry aren't merely decorative. Tinkaton is famous for hurling rocks at Corviknight, and now you can evolve your own by gathering Candy throughout the week. You'll need approximately 125 Candy to reach the final evolution.
Alongside Tinkatink's debut, there's a new costumed variation. Floragato wearing a hat with Liko's pin will appear in the wild, hatch from Eggs, and even feature in Raids. Lucky trainers might even encounter its Shiny form. Several other Pokémon, including Pikachu wearing Cap's hat and Charcadet, may also appear.

A selection of Paldea favorites including Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi are roaming the wild, while 7 km Eggs will hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance of Tinkatink. Keep your camera ready too - characters from the Horizons series and their Pokémon might photobomb your snapshots.

For trainers who enjoy battles, Pikachu wearing Cap's hat comes with the special move Volt Tackle, and Raids feature a solid lineup including Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. Bonus hunters will appreciate the increased frequency of Team Go Rocket balloons, halved Egg hatch distances, and boosted Shiny encounter rates and Stardust rewards.
The event also includes Field Research, plus free and paid Timed Research offering additional rewards like an exclusive avatar pose. You can prepare for the event by purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
