Fueling the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake rumors: Singapore's rating board has listed "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release.
This rumored remake, encompassing the next two core entries in the franchise, is slated for a wide range of platforms: Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
While official confirmation remains elusive, a countdown timer within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 hints at upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news, culminating on March 4, 2025.
Adding to the speculation, Tony Hawk himself revealed conversations with Activision, hinting at a project fans will appreciate. This follows the successful 2020 remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, making a 3+4 remake seem logical. However, the 2021 absorption of Vicarious Visions (the developers of the 1+2 remake) into Blizzard created a hurdle.
Initially, 3+4 was planned as the next project, but Vicarious Visions' integration shifted Activision's focus. Activision subsequently solicited proposals from other studios, but none met their expectations, according to Hawk.
The mystery remains: who's developing the game? The Singaporean rating only credits Activision as both publisher and developer. March 4th promises further clarification.
