World of Warcraft Patch 11.1: Undermine and Beyond
World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermine," introduces the subterranean Goblin capital city of Undermine, a sprawling zone filled with towering buildings, narrow streets, and inventive contraptions. But the expansion goes beyond Undermine itself, adding several new subzones.
Key additions include:
- Undermine: The central focus, a vast underground Goblin city.
- Gutterville: A subzone within the Ringing Deeps, featuring Excavation Site 9, a new delve. Its maroon coloration suggests corruption by Black Blood. It's likely a connection point to Undermine.
- Kaja’Coast: A new Goblin encampment in Zuldazar, near Bilgewater Bonanza. This location is suspected to be another access point to Undermine, potentially linked to the tram shown in the initial announcement.
These new areas significantly expand the playable space in Patch 11.1. A discovered map reveals Slam Central Station as the likely entry point into Undermine, showcasing five terminals. Given Gutterville and Kaja’Coast are two, three more potential locations remain.
While a firm release date is pending, Patch 11.1 is anticipated for mid-to-late February. Early January will see the update arrive on the Public Test Realm (PTR), allowing players early access. The PTR will offer a chance to explore these new zones before the official launch.
