Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 introduces highly anticipated S-Rank agent reruns, marking a significant shift in the game's character release strategy. Previously focusing solely on new agent introductions, Version 1.5 will feature two phases of rerun banners.
This change aligns Zenless Zone Zero more closely with HoYoverse's other popular titles, such as Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, which regularly offer rerun banners for previously released characters. The decision to finally implement reruns addresses player requests and provides a second chance for players to obtain previously missed S-Rank agents.
Version 1.5 Agent Lineup:
The update is divided into two phases:

Phase 1 (January 22 - February 12): Features the new Ether agent, Astra Yao, alongside a rerun banner for Ellen Joe (originally from Version 1.1). This phase also includes Ellen Joe's Agent Story.

Phase 2 (February 12 - March 11): Introduces Evelyn Chevalier and a rerun banner for Qingyi (also originally from Version 1.1).
Both rerun banners will also offer the respective characters' signature W-Engines.
New Outfits Unveiled:
Version 1.5 also introduces three new character outfits:
- "Chandelier" for Astra
- "On Campus" for Ellen
- "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole (obtainable for free via the Day of Brilliant Wishes event)
The inclusion of rerun banners and new outfits in Version 1.5 demonstrates HoYoverse's responsiveness to player feedback and commitment to expanding Zenless Zone Zero's content.
