Ik was niet van plan om deze week meer Pokémon -kaarten te kopen, maar toen zag ik dat de Scarlet & Violet - stijgende Sparks Booster Bundle nog op voorraad was op Amazon voor $ 45.02 na zijn enorme Pokémon TCG Restock. De restock had niet op een beter moment kunnen komen, samenvallen met de Amazon Spring Sale. Met zoveel hot sets beschikbaar zolang de voorraad duurt, brokkelde mijn wilskracht af als een basis van 60 pk met een 390-schade Hydreigon Ex.
Mijn favoriet? De stijgende vonkenset is chaos op de best mogelijke manier. Het zit boordevol achtervolgingskaarten die het verdienen om te worden geplukt, zoals de $ 432 Pikachu ex speciale illustratie zeldzaam. Geen typefout daar - de kleine elektrische muis is niet alleen een verzamelbare krachtpatser, maar ook een beest in de strijd. Topaz Bolt kan bijna alles van het bord vrijmaken, en Resolute Heart maakt het ongelooflijk moeilijk om uit te knock -out.

Dan is er de Latias EX- en Latios- combinatie, die een volledig romantiekmoment trekt met hun bijpassende verbonden kunstwerken. Latias is de zeldzamere en duurdere tweeling voor meer dan $ 200. Ik denk dat grote broer of zus energie wordt geleverd met een hoger prijskaartje. Ondertussen kanaliseert Milotic EX zijn innerlijke supermodel met dramatisch licht en schaduw, terwijl hij ook Tera Pokémon tegengaat als een meta -kaart.
Mijn persoonlijke favoriet? Ceruledge . Het geeft neon koorts dromen, en ik bedoel dat op de best mogelijke manier. Dit is de eerste keer dat de kaart waardevol is en ik denk dat Illustrator Rond een applaus verdient - of op zijn minst een koffie. Ceruledge is niet eens een topcomplexe Pokémon competitief, maar met deze kunst kan het me niets schelen.
Als u een verzamelaar bent, valt het waardepotentieel niet te ontkennen. Als je een speler bent, kunnen sommige van deze kaarten game-changers zijn op het slagveld. En als je gewoon geniet van glanzende dingen en de sensatie van gokken van $ 45 op karton, welkom bij de club. Ik heb al een doos gekraakt en ben mezelf overtuigd dat ik een andere nodig heb voor de wetenschap.
De bundel bevat zes boosterpakketten, dus je bent geen gegarandeerde zware slagmensen, maar met de snelheid die deze verkopen, is het verstandig om niet te lang te wachten. Pikachu gaat zichzelf niet trekken.
