Fantasian Neo Dimension: Unlocking the Power of the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan, a threat capable of obliterating all existence. The game's captivating story and unique gameplay mechanics keep players engaged throughout this high-stakes adventure.
The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging and extensive side quest. Obtaining it is only the first step; its true purpose unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal is first mentioned in Shangri-La and is the final item acquired before the final boss encounter. To obtain it, progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum, situated in the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, which drains 90% of your health. Ensure Kina is prepared to heal your party. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly eases the battle.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves highly effective against summoned enemies. Consider including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict massive damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. This area is filled with rubble. Locate a chest on your right; it contains the Tachyon Medal.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
Activating the Tachyon Medal requires two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and completing the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Cinderella Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, the first two being part of the main story:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat these bosses in the specified order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests will become accessible beneath the Altar. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Opening all three chests reveals a glowing door. It prompts you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point. All levels, items, and equipment are carried over. While enemies are enhanced, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal also unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to embark on a new journey to save the Human Realm.
