This electronic app is designed for anyone seeking quick access to the writings and biographies of the sect’s leading scholars.
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful
In today's world, technological advancement has become an essential part of daily life. It is therefore vital for institutions of knowledge and heritage to adapt to modern progress and global culture—preserving their intellectual legacy while making it easily accessible to the widest possible audience.
At the Heritage Revival Center of al-Abbas's alternatives, we recognize its significance as a leading source within its field. Despite its rich content, this valuable work has not received the attention it deserves in terms of publication. Although individual efforts led to the release of certain volumes in past centuries, handled carefully by dedicated scholars, much remains overlooked.
That is why we decided to launch an electronic application to serve specialists and enthusiasts of heritage studies. This platform serves as a gateway for those who wish to explore the lives and works of the sect’s revered scholars—enabling quick and efficient research like never before.
The application offers the book in three formats:
- A text version that closely matches the printed publication.
- A scanned digital copy of the original printed book.
- A unique feature especially useful for specialists: the handwritten manuscript by the author, may Allah have mercy on him. This allows users to verify possible printing errors, especially since many volumes, as noted earlier, were not fully reviewed and may contain typographical mistakes.
This user-friendly application includes several important features that benefit researchers, which we summarize below:
- Read each version of the book separately.
- Search across the full encyclopedia or within specific sections (using normal or advanced search).
- Copy or share text easily.
- Print pages from any of the three formats.
- Use two synchronized windows: one showing the text and the other the printed version, with zoom and page-linking capabilities.
- Browse indexes of biographers for each volume and the entire encyclopedia, with search support.
- Bookmark any page across all three formats.
- Add personal notes or comments on any page in all formats.
Finally, as we present this application to our esteemed users, we express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all who contributed to its creation. Special recognition goes to the respected scholar Sheikh Agha Buzurk al-Tharani, may Allah grant him mercy, for his tireless efforts in editing, reviewing, printing, and preparing parts of this work for publication. We also thank those who provided the manuscript and supported its release—making it available for researchers as an act of knowledge charity—and our dedicated team who worked diligently to bring this app to life. May Allah reward them all abundantly.
