Artist's Eye is a practical utility that helps you draw or paint with a real pen or pencil on paper or canvas.
Select a model picture (like a photo) and, while you draw, watch your artwork through your phone or tablet's camera.
The model will appear semi-transparent over your drawing, helping you outline the contours. It works similarly to the camera lucida obscura used for hundreds of years ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida ).
For best results, mount your phone on a stand to keep it steady and free up both hands.
This isn't cheating—it's a new way to work and learn.
