For the uninitiated, Metal Slug, originally released in 1996 by Nazca Corporation, is a celebrated Japanese run-and-gun series that has expanded into a multimedia phenomenon. While previous mobile entries like Metal Slug Defense (2014), Metal Slug Attack (2016), and Metal Slug Commander (2020) existed, Awakening promises a significant upgrade.
Staying true to its roots with classic shooter gameplay, Metal Slug: Awakening boasts enhanced visuals and innovative mechanics.
