Genshin Impact Version 6.0: Unveiling Nasha Town and Nod-Krai
Recent leaks from Genshin Impact's beta servers suggest the locations of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, both slated for release in Version 6.0. With Natlan's Archon Quest nearing completion, development is shifting towards Snezhnaya, the Cryo Nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's immense size, potentially surpassing Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, with expansion planned across multiple updates.
Initial leaks indicated Nod-Krai as a separate region in Version 6.0. However, recent datamining confirms its placement as an autonomous province within Snezhnaya, acting as a crucial trade hub connecting the nation to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's statements place Nod-Krai in Snezhnaya's southernmost reaches, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.
Leakflow, Extra, and footage from The_Strifemaster reveal a placeholder landmass in the Version 5.4 beta, situated beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass appears connected to Mont Esus, a rumored Fontaine expansion. While this doesn't confirm Mont Esus's release timeline, it strengthens the connection to Nasha Town and Nod-Krai's location.
Nod-Krai: A Lawless Province
Nod-Krai is a region and city situated on Snezhnaya's southern border. Despite some order maintained by the Voynich Guild, it's known for its lawless nature. A significant Fatui stronghold, led by the popular Harbinger Dottore, operates within Nod-Krai. Nasha Town is a key settlement within this province, and its inhabitants reportedly wield power predating Teyvat's seven Elements.
Dividing Snezhnaya into multiple releases might be controversial, but its sheer size makes a single-year release impractical, narratively and developmentally. Following Natlan's Archon Quest conclusion in Version 5.3, subsequent updates will gradually introduce Snezhnaya. While Capitano's fate remains unclear, Natlan will introduce Skirk, a playable character linked to Khaenri'ah's Five Sinners. Barring delays, Version 6.0 is anticipated for September 10, 2025.
