Embark on a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to locate Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik, and reap the rewards!
This guide details how to complete the "Lackey" side quest. First, acquire the quest from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's residence west of Tachov, or directly from Vitek (slightly southeast of the house, as Zlata will direct you to him anyway).
The quest begins with a journey north, where you'll find Vostatek under attack by wolves. Rescue him and help him reach his campsite where Pepik was last seen.
Upon arrival, you'll discover Pepik is gone. Follow the trail of clues leading to a poacher's camp. Examine each clue along the path.
At the poacher's camp, you'll find Pepik. Engage the poachers strategically; eliminating those at the camp's edge first is recommended. Alternatively, you can swiftly mount Pepik and escape before engaging in a full-scale fight.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. You can choose to ride with him back to his home (fast travel option). Your reward? A generous sum of Groschen and a place to rest whenever needed.
With Pepik returned and your coffers fuller, continue your adventures in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, pursuing other quests, romances, or equipment upgrades.
