Black Kyurem introduces the powerful **Freeze Shock**, an Adventure Effect that unleashes electrically charged ice for 10 minutes. This effect temporarily immobilizes wild Pokémon, significantly increasing your chances of a successful catch. You can renew the duration by activating the effect again in 10-minute increments—up to two hours at once—and enjoy a total of 24 hours of extended use throughout the event.White Kyurem’s Ice Burn
On the other side, White Kyurem offers **Ice Burn**, which slows down the target ring during Pokémon encounters. This makes it much easier to land those high-reward **Excellent Throws**, giving you more Stardust and XP per catch. Like Freeze Shock, Ice Burn can also be refreshed every 10 minutes and stacked for up to 24 hours total usage.Fusing for Power
During the event, you’ll have the chance to challenge both Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in five-star raids. By doing so, you can collect Fusion Energy and fuse Zekrom or Reshiram with Kyurem. Once fused, if Kyurem knows the move Glaciate, it will be replaced by either Freeze Shock (from Black Kyurem) or Ice Burn (from White Kyurem). These special moves revert back to Glaciate once the fusion is undone. As part of the event, players can choose between two exclusive paths: the **Black Version (Reshiram)** or the **White Version (Zekrom)**.- In the Black Version, Kyurem encountered after defeating Black Kyurem will know Glaciate, and you'll receive Reshiram-themed Special Research rewards.
- The White Version provides Zekrom-themed Special Research content, and Kyurem encountered post-battle will also know Glaciate.
