Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, a collaboration with the BIG Festival, featuring a prestigious presentation of winners.

The awards featured 13 categories, with finalists selected by a panel of 49 judges. All nominees were playable at the Sao Paulo Expo, ensuring attendees had ample opportunity to experience the shortlisted titles. Notably, mobile and PC games were integrated seamlessly, reflecting the growing importance of mobile gaming.

The "Best Mobile Game" award was highly anticipated, ultimately going to Triband ApS' "What the Car?". This win further solidifies the game's merit, previously highlighted in an article featuring ten exceptional, lesser-known games. This increased recognition may require updating that "undiscovered gems" list!
