Fortnite's cosmetic item system, featuring rotating skins in the in-game store, creates both excitement and frustration for players. While some long-awaited skins, like Master Chief, eventually reappear, others remain elusive. This is particularly true for the highly sought-after Jinx and Vi skins from Arcane.
The return of these popular skins is uncertain, at best. While their re-release would likely be profitable, Riot Games, the creators of Arcane and League of Legends, seem hesitant. A statement from Riot co-founder Marc Merrill indicated the collaboration was limited to the first season of Arcane, casting doubt on a future return. Although Merrill expressed willingness to discuss the matter internally, no guarantees were given.
The reluctance likely stems from concerns about player migration. With League of Legends facing challenges, Riot may be wary of encouraging players to switch to Fortnite due to the availability of these skins. While a future return isn't impossible, it's advisable to temper expectations for now.
