This first DLC for the highly anticipated title, set in 16th-century feudal Japan, promises significant additions to the game's already substantial content.
Assassin's Creed Shadows, featuring dual protagonists Yasuke and Naoe, has faced numerous setbacks including delays and negative feedback. The recent delay to March 20, 2025, follows a previous postponement from November 15, 2024, to February 14, 2025. Ubisoft cited the need for further polishing and refinement.
The leaked Steam update, since removed, detailed "Claws of Awaji" as including a new region, weapon type, skills, gear, and abilities. It also suggests an increase in playtime of over 10 hours.
