Does Avowed Have New Game Plus?
For those who love to replay games with enhanced difficulty and accumulated skills and gear, New Game Plus is a cherished feature, especially in RPGs. Unfortunately, *Avowed* does not offer New Game Plus at launch. However, there's hope on the horizon. Many players have expressed their desire for this mode, and Obsidian might respond to this feedback by adding it in a future update or DLC.
Even without New Game Plus, *Avowed* remains worth replaying. The game's rich narrative and gameplay are influenced by numerous player choices, making it rewarding to start a new save and explore different endings and character builds.
Does Avowed Have Endgame Content?
While the final areas provide a challenging experience, this challenge doesn't extend to the earlier regions, and no new areas become accessible post-game. It's disappointing that you can't see how your decisions have shaped the Living Lands after the credits roll.

What You Can Do After You Beat Avowed
With no New Game Plus and limited endgame content, *Avowed's* post-game offerings might feel underwhelming. After defeating the final boss, you'll watch several minutes of animatic cutscenes that reveal the consequences of your choices on the world and characters of the Living Lands. Once these scenes conclude, you'll return to the Main Menu.
From the Main Menu, you have two options: start a new journey with a different Envoy or reload a previous save. You can access autosaves from just before the point of no return and before the final encounter, allowing you to replay these sections and make different choices to see varied story outcomes.
Reloading to a save before the point of no return also lets you revisit earlier regions. You can complete the map, earn achievements, finish side quests, and collect any items you missed. Since enemies in these regions don't scale with your level, returning to an area like Dawnshore with your Legendary Quality weapons and gear can be incredibly fun.
And that's what happens after you beat *Avowed*.
