Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Originally slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been rescheduled for a January 28th, 2025 launch. This delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, aimed to ensure a polished and optimal player experience.
Developed by Balloon Studios, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game's unique blend of relaxing gameplay, magical plant cultivation, and charming English countryside setting earned widespread praise, solidifying its reputation as a top-tier puzzler of 2024. Its OpenCritic score of 83/100 and 92% positive review rate underscore its critical success.
While the new release date is confirmed, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders aren't currently available. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is unlikely to be offered on PlayStation.
Botany Manor’s arrival on PlayStation will complete its initial cross-platform rollout. The developers, Balloon Studios, haven't yet announced their next project. January 28th also sees the PlayStation release of several other titles, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness, adding to the platform's diverse game library. Botany Manor is poised to further enrich the PlayStation's already impressive collection of puzzle games.
