Lure Modules will be crucial during the Bug Out event. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but they'll also increase the number of Pokémon appearing at a PokéStop if enough are caught using a single Lure Module. This is your chance to maximize your encounters and make the most of the event.
You'll also benefit from earning 2x XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with increased Candy XL chances for trainers level 31 and up. Shiny hunters will be thrilled to know that the odds of finding Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are improved during this event.
Expect to see a swarm of Bug-types in the wild, including frequent appearances from Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep an eye out for the rare Cutiefly, which might make an appearance if luck is on your side.
In one-star raids, you'll encounter Sizzlipede alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor will dominate the three-star raids. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will reward you with Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.
