How To Camp in Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land

by Emma Mar 26,2025

Embarking on your journey through the Ligneus Region with Yumia and her friends introduces you to the delightful feature of setting up camp. This not only provides a cozy spot to rest but also allows for deeper interactions with your companions. Understanding when and where you can establish these camps is key to enhancing your adventure in *Atelier Yumia*.

How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia

You'll unlock the ability to craft Camping Sets through Simple Synthesis after conquering the manabound Dux Lighthouse, the first such area you'll encounter in Yumia's story. Once you've built a base on the newly accessible land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and chat with Erhard to unlock camping.

Crafting a Camping Set requires the following materials:

  • 5% Energy
  • 3 Wood
  • 2 Water
  • 5 Fiber
  • 2 Charcoal

These materials are conveniently located around the Ligneus Survey Base. Water can be sourced from wells throughout the region or by harvesting plants along river shores, which also yield fiber. Charcoal is obtained by breaking down ore.

To craft your Camping Set, access the Simple Synthesis menu and ensure you have a 4×4 space available. If not, the set will be stored in your stash at the Atelier or one of your bases.

Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia

With your Camping Set ready, you can set up camp on any open piece of land. Narrow cliffs and dense forests won't do; you'll need to find a more spacious area. Ideal spots include established campsites like the River Campsite near the Ligneus Survey Base.

If you have a Camping Set in your Exploration Bag, check the radial menu. The Camping option in the bottom right corner should be highlighted to indicate a suitable spot. If it's greyed out, you'll need to find a different location.

What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia

Camping is your chance to cook the food you've gathered during your exploration. It's a crucial step before tackling bosses or entering manabound areas, especially on higher difficulty settings.

Beyond the practicalities, camping offers a chance to bond with your companions through unique dialogues. These interactions, while not pivotal to the main storyline, enrich your understanding and connection with your team.

And that's your complete guide to camping in *Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land*.
