Embark on a treasure hunt in Avowed! Many treasure maps scattered throughout the game world offer exciting rewards, and one of the first you can find is Captain Henqua's Spoils, located in the Dawnshore region.
Finding Captain Henqua's Spoils Treasure Map
To begin your quest, head to the lighthouse in the western part of Calviger’s Landing, situated in the southern area of The Living Lands. Carefully climb the lighthouse using the ledges and scaffolding. At the top, you'll find Captain Henqua's Spoils treasure map.
Locating Captain Henqua's Spoils
With the map in hand, follow its clues! Descend from the lighthouse and head north along the river to a broken bridge, northeast of the Old Pargrun Wall and the Western Pargrun Wall Beacon fast travel point. Swim to the southern end of the bridge, then west, into a cave. Inside, you'll find a chest containing the Wind and Wave shield.
The Wind and Wave Shield
The Wind and Wave shield boasts a 10% movement speed boost and 20% Frost Accumulation resistance. Its Superb Quality makes it significantly stronger than other early-game shields. Upgrade it to Legendary quality using materials like Glasswood Branches and Adra Ban for even greater power.
