Castle Doombad triumphantly returns to Android as "Castle Doombad: Free To Slay"! Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this tower defense strategy game, originally launched in 2014, offers a thrilling comeback.
Grumpyface, known for hits like "Steven Universe: Attack the Light" and "Teeny Titans," initially planned a simple remake. However, they cleverly divided the project, creating "Free To Slay" for mobile and a "Classic" version for PC and Nintendo Switch (releasing later this year). The Classic version boasts remastered visuals, enhanced content, and new features. A sequel, "Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!", is also in development.
Unleash Your Inner Evil!
"Castle Doombad: Free To Slay" lets players revel in villainy, constructing devious lairs and repelling righteous heroes. Instead of the usual heroics, traps and minions are your primary weapons.

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) includes the complete original game with 70 stages, daily challenges, and endless modes. Over 30 traps are available for unlocking and upgrading, along with 100+ collectable items.
A customizable cosmetic system, "spoils," allows players to adorn their Dark Lord and lair with evil artifacts. These can be combined with "Baddie Bonus" perks for strategic advantages.
A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," introduces randomly generated castle layouts and challenging Nightmares, granting players villainous new powers. Download "Castle Doombad: Free To Slay" from the Google Play Store today!
