Civilization VII's Launch and Post-Launch DLC Roadmap
Civilization VII, the latest installment in the acclaimed 4X strategy series from Firaxis Games and 2K, is set for release on February 11th, with Deluxe and Founders Edition owners gaining five days early access on February 6th. A day-one patch will also be available. The game will launch across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, including Steam Deck compatibility.
Firaxis has confirmed the game has gone gold, signifying the completion of primary development and minimizing the risk of further delays.
The game's post-launch content will be delivered in two DLC packs:
Crossroads of the World (March Release): This DLC will be released in two parts.
- Part 1: Introduces Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, along with Ada Lovelace as a new leader.
- Part 2 (three weeks after Part 1): Adds Simon Bolivar as a leader and Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations.
Right to Rule (Q2/Q3 2025): This DLC will include two more leaders, four additional civilizations, and new natural wonders.
Beyond the DLC, Firaxis plans ongoing improvements and additions to the core game. In March, expect new in-game events and natural wonders such as the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest.
