Clash of Clans enthusiasts, get ready for a groundbreaking update set to roll out in March 2025. This update is poised to overhaul the game in ways players have been clamoring for years, marking one of the most significant shifts in the game's history with several long-standing features on their way out.
No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!
Say goodbye to waiting times for your troops, spells, and siege machines. With the upcoming update, you'll be able to launch back-to-back attacks without any delay, making battles more thrilling and fast-paced than ever before. Hero recovery time is also being eliminated, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change will be implemented for players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League retains its eight-battle daily limit for now.
This pivotal change aligns with Clash of Clans' ongoing efforts to strip away outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training time further empowers players to enjoy uninterrupted gameplay without artificial barriers.
Alongside these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out, as they no longer serve a purpose. They'll be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining items in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
When real player bases are scarce, the new Match Anytime system will enable you to attack snapshot bases. These are archived versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles operate just like regular ones, allowing you to earn loot and trophies, but the defender won't lose anything. This system, already implemented for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now extend to multiplayer battles.
Additionally, with the increased number of battles per session, the update will adjust Trophy Curves by reducing the number of trophies earned from victories. Clan Castle request timers will also be standardized to a 10-minute cooldown for all players.
