Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection: A Blast from the Past, Reimagined for Modern Players
Konami is bringing a nostalgic wave of classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games to the Nintendo Switch and Steam! The Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection celebrates the franchise's 25th anniversary by remastering beloved titles from the series' beginnings.
The initial lineup includes:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2
While previously announced, these titles represent only the first wave of a planned ten-game collection. Konami promises a full game list reveal at a later date.
These Game Boy era games are getting a significant upgrade. Konami is adding modern conveniences such as online battles and save/load functionality. Local co-op modes (where applicable) will also be enhanced for online play. Further refinements include quality-of-life improvements and customizable button layouts and backgrounds.
