There’s More Coming to the Game!
In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing the Retro Rules Set game mode, which is available for free. This mode allows players to experience the game as it was originally played in 1949, complete with old-school mechanics that alter movement and accusation strategies.
In the Retro Rules Set, tokens start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet traditionally makes the first move, with Colonel Mustard stepping in if she's absent. Accusations can only be made from within a room, and Clue Cards are omitted entirely. Furthermore, players cannot move through squares occupied by others, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay.
